Music has been a part of my life from childhood. I started with the accordion at age 8, and in the next few years I also experimented with banjo and saxophone. In high school I enjoyed participating in the award-winning Delta High School Concert Choir. In college I took up guitar and piano. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Music. Over the next several decades I taught music in schools in Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado and New Mexico.
After retirement last year I still wanted to work with young people and so I am very happy to be at Da Capo and share the music I love with students both young and old.
